Physical Education
 
All Physical Education courses are designed to meet the fitness needs of each student. Fitness tests, individual and team skills, and activities including flag ball, soccer, softball, basketball, volleyball, badminton, floor hockey and archery are all a part of the Physical Education program. Students are required to take Physical Education each year in attendance, unless a physician requests an exemption.
 

Fitness
 1/2 Credit

This class is designed specifically for juniors and seniors wishing to work out with the stationary bicycles, weight lifting, walking/jogging, and aerobic programs. Students will be fitted to an individual program of exercise, four class periods per week, and will have one theory class period per week. The theory portion of the fitness class will consist of lectures on fitness for life, fitness appraisals, cardiovascular endurance, weight control, strength and flexibility, and related topics of study.
