Astrid Wendth
Astrid E. Wendth begins her second full-time year at G.B.A. in 2009 teaching History and English, following two years teaching English part-time. She is a 3rd-generation graduate of Atlantic Union College, from which she earned B.A. degrees in English and History. She has completed 2/3 of an MA in American Studies from University of Massachusetts Boston, the completion of which is on hold until she completes her teaching certification and a Masters of Education through Atlantic Union College.
Born in Japan and raised in Northern California, Ms. Wendth graduated from PUC Preparatory School before moving to New England for college. In addition to teaching, she is enthusiastic about Red Sox baseball, Civil War and WWII history, and classic Hollywood cinema.
